last light on the way home.

There was a clear sky and a lovely moon yesterday as I walked home. I couldn't resist it. The light was failing quite quickly and the only bit of sunlight left was just clipping the tops of the trees.

The last two show a very very precious tree. It is an elm that escaped the Dutch Elm Disease ravages in the 1980s.

All with K1 and an 'A' series, macro 100mm.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Love the last one - that tobacco sunset topped off with the moon and a classically British treeline -

+1 - absolutely.
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories

You couldn't resist it and I can see why. Light, moon, trees, colours of the sky all coming together perfectly . It's so reminiscent of similar views from one of the usual evening dog walks, except no elm tree for me (almost 2 years since the dog died and the memories are still strong).
