Rebates on Pentax K5ll & K5lls, perhaps Ricoh is about to announce something on Thursday? With the recent new HD Ltd lenses and two new flashes, things could be looking very promising!

Hopefully not a K6 which turns out to be nothing more than a re-bodied K5II. Like they did with K500/K50, which are re-bodied K30's with a firmware patch. Should have been released as a K30.1. Hopefully the announcement will be a bit more meaty.

I am looking to get a new body (not literally) to add to my K10.
The K5 looks great value now at just over £400 new, but do you think I should wait for a K5II? And - is there much difference between them?

Karl, I am having similar thoughts, I'm going to wait until I can afford a K5-ii because for me that new focus system is a killer feature, but depending on your style and favourite subjects that might not be important to you. The K5 is a real bargain right now if your AF needs are modest.

Probably a mix and match range of colour options for the Pentax D-LI90 battery though.
