Very few, but plenty will complain they have not been able to, due to the release delay

I find the idea of K3xxx = APSC flagship family evolution quite interesting, especially the comment about a MK4 and 5. Ditto K1 family.
Don't get why good ideas from earlier/other models aren't all incorporated and carried forward - GPS, articulated screen, etc. as all the development work has been done.

+1
Disappointing from Pentax, bearing in mind their own quasi-religious principles, e.g. "We design cameras that allow our users to enjoy all the processes involved in taking a picture."

It's near the end of the video. Different cameras for different creative purposes. Why limit your photographic experience by only having one Pentax camera? Get both a K3III and a K1. No mention of things like 'bank balance' or 'other domestic priorities' in the video, though...

My KP is so good I won't be tempted to buy the K-3iii. I know they are different beasts, but I already have a K-3 mk1 and will keep that. After owning the KP and a K-1 for several months now, I really do think the the IQ from the KP is not very far behind the K-1, especially when I factor in the lenses as I have better quality lenses for APS-C than I do for full frame. I don't see what benefits the K-3iii would bring me, I don't need better AF, nor higher MP count nor anything else the K-3iii would bring as my other cameras already have most of its features.

the launch price sounds pretty high, hearing >$2000 near EU2000, which would be a deal breaker for me

Wait a few months, it'll come down. It always does.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

agreed, guess it depends on down to where?
I only dip in the buying stuff every few years, came pondering a new DSLR (KP / K70, didnt excite K1 too heavy) cant see a K3 iii in my near future, especially if its much over £1k
In the last few weeks have decided to stick with Pentax a while longer (over swapping to Fujifilm) bought a couple of lenses, pricey tripod head and a bunch of other stuff, so thats my "new DSLR" spending money gone, for a while. Am probably not Ricohs target demographic

Well you can see their point if you've a hoard of K mount lenses in your bag or cupboard. K-3 iii good for macro stuff, chasing kids, grandkids or pets about, Use the K-1 series for more considered stuff. I'll probably go for the Premium Black version (did I say that out loud :shock
