K3iii - down by £300

I was going to post that I received a mail from the official Pentax retailer here in Spain that they've a voucher code for €300 off the K3 III and to perhaps expect the same in the UK, looks like that's happening. That pricing is reflected over at SRS, as is a price drop for the K1 II, down to 1499 (and with an HD FA 35/2 thrown in too).
I'd say the K1 II deal is the better of the two.
Pentax hybrid user - Digital K3, film 645 and 35mm SLR and Pentax (&other) lenses adapted to Fuji X and Panasonic L digital

I noticed these price drops also.
An encouraging trend anyway from a consumer POV as drops like this only usually happen in Nov/Dec.
Can't help feeling that with all that's happening in the world right now there may be more to come.
The 'Middle Classes' are being squeezed and with less disposable income 'luxuries' like photogear will be amongst the first things to suffer from financial restraint.
Maybe that is what Pentax were alluding to recently when they talked about producing stuff more or less to order and dealing direct with consumer.
So it could mean that equipment already produced will be reduced to clear ensuring cashflow continuation but that in future equipment will be more expensive
as produced in smaller quantities and possibly more bespoke.

The K-1 II body price was an error - apologies, I used the wrong spreadsheet to upload sale data to the site 
Most of the other offers finish on the 19th as these are exclusive to us.
The K-3 III is marketwide and finishes on the 30th April.

Pound:Yen is going in our direction as well, hopefully making Pentax gear cheaper in the long run. I miss the days when you could get over 220Yen to the pound, it went down to as much as 120/130.

Its a pity Chris I would of had that at £1499
