This is an old chestnut, I'm sure, but has anybody any updated info on if this camera can be tethered to any software? I have Lightroom Classic CC so would prefer to use this but Adobe points me back to Pentax for info but I cannot see where or how you contact them.

I certainly would never put another Flu card in my K3ii. It completely reset my computer and I had the devil of a job regaining control of it. I have yet to make the thing inside the K1 work properly, even having installed the extra software on my Android phone. I just ignore it as an unwanted gimmick nowadays. When this is over I shall probably take it to Watford and ask them to show me why the instructions don't work as described.

I can't get it to work with my tablet either!

OP. Would it be correct to think you want more than just a larger monitor?

It's strange that getting the flu card to work seems such a problem for some people. I use it without problems with a K3, driven from an MS Surface with Windows 8.1 and Firefox. It's slow and a bit cluncky but it does work and has let me get low-down macro shots that would have been hard to get any other way (my back ain't wot it used to be...). Definitely not for a shot of something moving, though, or if you're someone who likes to do things quickly!

I agree. Don't use the Flucard much, but it works well provided you use one of the correct browsers - Chrome or Safari, although it's reported to work with Firefox and Opera too.

With my K and K3ii, I can fully take advantage of the Flucard with Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone, Huawei tablet and Win 7pro PC.
Crome browser needed.
Slot 2 for memory card needed.
Some help to find here perhaps:

That was a great video. Being the owner of a K3, I am still waiting for having the opportunity to order the flucard for Pentax. I don't get why it is so complicated to order from North America whereas other European countries have already access to it. Anyway, I hope I can put a hand on it and play around. I am pretty sure it can be very handy for fireworks
