K3 III discount offers starting (at least in Europe)

Not really a lead to a deal (especially after Brexit) but wasn't sure where else to put it. I got a mail from an official Pentax online store in Spain to say until the end of October they have a €200 discount on the K3 III when trading in any other camera regardless. Presumably that means any crappy old P&S, which could be picked up for a tenner.

I haven't seen anything similar for the UK but given that the major criticism of the K3 III is the price, it's a good sign that some form of discount is appearing.

Pricing high and then dropping / creating offers appears to be a common Pentax tactic. Presumably, something similar will happen here soon.

I suspect many who like it but don't want to pay initial opening price might be tempted when price drops to about £1500 which I personally think is its relative worth across entire Pentax range.

SRS have done the the same thing a few times after the initial excitement of release has settled down a bit.

The K-3 III would have to come down lower than £1500 for me to be interested though.
