Made my mind up to purchase a K3 from SRS on Saturday afternoon. It turned up this morning so went to Donnington Park this afternoon where the touring cars were testing ... and where I could test the K3. These are a few that I got, along with a soaking, as the weather went back to its usual rainy self ... gave the K3 a wash as well, not that it needed it. I am pleased with the camera considering I quickly adjusted a few settings and these were a few of the batch of first pictures taken.

In my opinion. One of the great difficulties when photographing cars. Is to get the sense of speed. These shots do very well in that aspect..I bet you are really pleased with the results......

Looks like you're instantly at home with the K-3, well done.

I used a Pentax DA* 300mm f4 plus some with a 1.7x auto-focus converter attached (my favourite combo). Well pleased considering the camera only turned up 50 minutes before I left for Donnington , so I quickly set the camera as I have my K5II set which probably helped a bit.
