Morning,

Wonder if anyone can give me a guide as to how to set up my K3 to use old M lenses!!

In the camera menu - I think the 4th page of the 4th tab (could be wrong), you need to find 'using aperture ring', and set it to '2' I think, so that the camera is expecting a lens with manual aperture ring, then away you go...

I think[ sorry if I have got this wrong } using your manual lens in manual mode if you go to menu4 e dial programing and set the green button to tv in M mode, this will allow you to press to green button to stop down and meter for exposure.
Have not used my old lenses for a while but sure this is on the net somewhere

As an aside, I can confirm the K-3 is brilliant with the older lenses, for several reasons:

- It has focus peaking in 'live view', this revolutionises focus ease and accuracy with MF lenses

- The 'focus confirmation' in the viewfinder is more accurate than with any other Pentax body I've used

- It has the resolution to take advantage of the best lenses, some of the old ones are crackers, like my Pentax-M 28mm F3.5 for example

- It meters very accurately with old manual lenses

Enjoy!
