Is £360 overpriced for K20d that's had an IR conversion on it?

I noticed that listing too and was put off by the pricing, There is the option to make an offer though; you could try that.

I saw it.... then tried it.... and it automatically rejected a sensible offer.

With a filter youll need a tripod and prob wont be able to see the composition with the filter on, it'll have to be composed before you add the filter.

The benefits of a conversion is you can use the camera handheld as normal

I had a K5ii professionally converted last July, due to the increase in shipping and other costs from the far east, components have become more expensive and in shorter supply, the conv was initially estimated at 6 weeks, ended up being 14

Can I ask where you had your conversion done Chris? I'm currently waiting for mine from Advanced Camera Services

Morning Micheal

It was Advanced Camera Services as well, I dropped it off in person the middle of April and got it back by courier the end of July.

The service was overall good, i think delays in obtaining the parts plus their workload all contributed to the lenghty time.

They do a CLA as well,
Chris

I had my old Pentax K-r professionally converted several years ago and, including postage, it was around £270 then. So, if the one for sale has been recently converted, it's possibly not too unreasonable, bearing in mind current charges and that the conversion includes, as Chris has noted, a full CLA.
