The key to avoiding time & date reset is as suggested above again by Lubbyman but I would further add, don't wait until the K20d battery is totally drained and equally important, before swapping the battery, switch the camera on and leave it switched for at least 5mins, preferably a little more, (you may need to experiment) in order to charge up the capacitor. At this point do a rapid battery change. This method works every time for me with my Q.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!
