I'll get right on to it.....
But for information.. The insurance company was offered the old K1 at the time of the claim and they didnt want it.. Dont forget the best Pentax repair specialist in the country said it was beyond economic repair,, And SRS had a look at it too.
It still dosnt have any focus points in the viewfinder... But still takes a cracking image...l as long as the subject isnt moving.. But thats the Pentax trait isnt it lads,,,,

Took this with it last week.. It has no focus points in the viewfinder and the battery drains flat if left in overnight. Need to find someone who can repair it properly..

Seems like it's definitely worth trying to repair it. Even as is it's worth something.
I know what i like, If not always why.

No one will touch cameras impregnated with salt water... ! In fact it was probably SRS who inadvertently repaired it by returning it to me without replacing the base plate...
