You can even use their money rather than your own and get 12 months credit.

The offer is on until May 31st (my birthday) so I will jump in then. May as well wait to see if there is a price drop in that time ... talk about having your cake and eating it

They don't do interest-free credit yet, AFAIK, but SRS have this combo at £939.

If there's a cracking deal somewhere else, it's always worth checking - he's very rarely much behind.

If he did interest-free as well, I'd have had a K-3 off him several months ago.

I don't want the grip, though, so it's not quite so appealing. I'll probably get the 18-135 with it when I jump.

The interest free isn't an issue as my credit card company just gave me a new card with 18 months interest free. I will contact Chris and see about doing a p/x with my K_5II and grip. I thought you had the 18-135 mm and hated it.?

I had decided it was time to replace my back up body (Kr) and make my K5 my back up if I could find a decent used K5iis as I really do not want to spend £900 on a new body.

BUT - thanks Mike - you have now well and truly put the feline among the feathered creatures!

So effectively you get £200 of 'freebies' and interest free credit - making the price of the K3 around £700 - which appears to be about £150 more than I would have to pay for a used K5iis - and if I am lucky £150 is about what I could get for my mint boxed Kr

So - I can get a K3 for the price of a used K5iis + my Kr (hear those self justification cogs slipping smoothly in to place).

Although - yes I would want a grip - but I don't care about a flu card - so that is really £100 I would not have spent but I would probably buy a grip if i got a K5iis - so that again balances the books

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Weekend ruined - cheers Mike
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Must admit I don't really want the flucard.
