Just picked up my K-1 mk ii

Just picked up my K-1 mk ii yesterday and took her for a spin late last night. Very impressed with the camera so far. Low light performance seems very good. I noticed taking a few shots this morning in the harbour on the way to work that the metering seems much more accurate than on my K-3 ii. I literally had no flashing red bits for over exposure which must be a first. Looks like the dynamic range of the camera is superb.

These were handheld and processed in a hurry.....

Mine is arriving today. Going to try my old film lenses with it and after seeing the results I will decide if I need a new lens or lenses.

It's just the nonsense that you have to supply your email so that they can sell it and you get FREE Spam I've gone to great lengths and changed my email to a random one to avoid spam. Kill filters are a waste of time because genuine emails get caught.

Some forums are like that they won't let you see their hosted pics unless you become a member. I've enough genuine passwords to keep track of as it is.

Luckily with the forums a lot of people link to offsite photos. One of my favourite sites is like that. I can't decide whether to join or not. I'll never post there and there aren't many photos they host. Excellent photography though....

From what i hear you should get very good results from your old film lenses. I Just need my Sigma 70-200 to come back from Sigma now with the new mounting plate that won't scratch the body.

Oh, and another snap from the harbour last night.... Taken with the 50mm F/1.8 which technically isn't a full frame lens. A little soft at the edges but workable.
