Its very easy to cover the mic with your finger

nope i checked out, even when placed to my ear on full volume its still very hard to hear

I think you may have misunderstood Gartmore's point as you mention that you placed your ear close.
Are you sure the mic (microphone) was not covered dururing the recording?
We're talking about the microphone that records, not the speaker that plays back.

oh no sorry course not , i can see where the mic hole is and even spoke directly into it

i have concluded it is the speaker and its like as if it struggle blipping/weark when playing audio/video back

when i record sound/vid could it mean its my MIC/speaker? but when i play MOV file on my computier they sound crisp clear so it could be just the speaker on my optio x ?
