Nigel 2. was just taken through a window in the hotel in the corridor opposite my room and it was the combination of angles that caught my eye. No. 7 was such a gift to find the two lovers sitting there I just wish I had moved to the left a little bit so that they were more silhouetted.
I have 'tweaked' no. 8 numerous times and, no doubt, shall again until I am fully happy. I do see what you mean, it could do with a another play on the sliders

Not sure what size the images are your posting here but some of us don't have a fibre connection. I gave up waiting for them all to load after a few minutes.
So it's not just me then

A really interesting, varied and creative set. I particularly like the light in 5, the very well spotted composition of the shutters and the red light district image, very clever that one.
You can see some of my photos here if you are so inclined

Here is a new post with 'forum shrunk' versions : link
tyronet2000 thanks for the comments. I spotted the window sign in No. 5 and took several images on a slow shutter speed to deliberately get the the right blur effect. This was, probably, bike 16 out of 30

I'm glad you like it.
DrOrloff I tried to be a bit 'creative' and not go for the standard tourist image approach. Thanks for the vote that proves I achieved it

I managed to squeeze my K3 and 18-135 (I am now officially in love with this lens) in my bag and went out for a few hours one evening.
I tried to capture some 'non-touristy' images of the city. I mainly used Aperture Priority with the exception of No. 12 which was a 30 second exposure propped on 3 bar stools on the hotel roof bar.
Click for Full size images and, as always C&C is welcome (although I am aware that I need to do something about the purple and green fringing).
