Are they printed directly onto the glass, or printed onto a sheet of laminated plastic, then glued onto the glass??...

I like the Caribbean one!!

Hi Steven

They are printed direct on to the Glass. Low Iron glass gives the best results. The glass in this case has then been toughened which in essence makes the printing an integral part of the glass, i.e. in other words it is permanent. This can be done from any digital image.

Love #2 -

Not too keen on the other two. Caribbean scene is a bit cliched and the centre area (leaves on the horizon ) looks a bit odd as if a saturation adjustment brush has been almost following the edge of the leaf but afraid to cover it. Doesn't look natural.

Hi Paul,

Really like no 2.

Can you give a few more details of the process - did you do this yourself or have it done some where?; what sort of cost are we looking at etc.

This is something I have wanted to try out after seeing an artist who paints onto glass using oils, and wondered if it could be done with a photo.

I agree, No 2 looks good!
It would actually be a nice idea for this year's anniversary gift for my wife Did you have this done by such a print shop or did you do it on your own? I've already chosen a picture of us back in our 20s when we were handsome
