If It Looks Like A Duck...

... it probably is a duck, even if it doesn't quack. Unless it's a cormorant.

Here are a few of the more interesting shots of ducks (and cormorant) from my trip to RSPB Ham Wall a week ago. There were also plenty of the 'here's a swimming widgeon' type of photo, but who wants to see yet another standard duck picture - unless you're into that sort of thing of course.

All with K3 + DA300mm + F 1.7x adapter.

These work very well as a set for me. If I had to pick a favourite it'd be Nr. 3, it'd bad enough getting humans to look the right way and this captures the wild spirit nicely.

Why do I have a vision of you with waders on, camera in hand and a duck call whistle in your mouth

I'm liking the 3rd the most, it has a nice painterly feel to it for me
