It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I hope your models are patient !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

The only models I have ever photographed were made of plastic so I should be OK...

Sunny 16 rule says 1.25 sec at f16 on a sunny day. Should be OK for architectural shots unless the building is very wobbly. Or you could go for Victorian-style portraits where the sitter is gritting their teeth while trying not no twitch a muscle until the photographer says they can move.

Will your next challenge involve a pile of magnesium powder on a tray?

Don't think I haven't thought about it...

Although on a bright day with a 1.4 or 1.2 lens you could handhold photos, it doesn't really make the most of using such a slow film. I'm thinking of subjects where I can make the most of the slow exposures. After all, people spend a lot of money on "big stoppers". The other issue is that the film (apparently) does not have a great dynamic range so I'll have to keep an eye on that too. Thankfully, it is only a 24exp roll.

My daughter has given me a dry glass plate camera (takes 1/6th size). It's not a Pentax! To try it out, I have some plates arriving from Analogue Wonderland and opted for the ISO 25, thinking its slow by manageable. They offer ISO 2 but I thought that was way too slow. Did your ISO 1/2 come as part of their subscription kit?

i have a roll of this... it is part of Analogue Wonderland's wonderbox. no idea what to shoot with it!

The last slow speed one (6 ISO) i stuck in a pinhole, figuring it's slow, so why not!
Pentax k1000, MX, ME Super, K5iiD 18-55, Tamron 70-300, Tamron 500 mirror, pentax 10-17, 50 1:4, a manual 28, some extension tubes and a bagful of memory cards. That's all i need... and a load of film cameras too... that's it, honest.

That's how I got mine. The Wonderbox was a great idea. I enjoy the competitions too.

i shot mine with the MX. apart from the novelty of having "positive" negatives, the film isn't my cup of tea - doing mainly nature type photos. it's a bit too grey, not really any great contrast.

It was interesting to shoot at such a low ISO, but also a bit of a pain.

hope you managed to get some decent shots from your roll.
