Nice!
I'd be very interested to hear how you find it.

250 for that lens is a real bargain - the 20-40mm is the lens I miss the most of those I've sold even though I didn't own it for long and my copy had some front/back focus problems (which you should check for on your copy).
It's not particularly fast but image quality is stellar and it's the closest I've ever felt to the experience of using a prime when in fact it's a zoom.

Agree with Jonathan, that is a great price for a beautifully engineered excellent walkaround lens. I have the silver version and I though I'd done well at £370

Well I managed to try out my 20-40mm yesterday on my K5ii but it was not until I got home that I realised that I had been shooting in jpeg instead of my usual RAW (I was previously experimenting with using jpeg only but did not like it) Now before anyone says anything about my processing, that's my style and I know it's not to everyones taste but that's fine. I feel a little meh about this lens, the same way I initially felt about the 40mm Ltd, perhaps I am expecting too much but it's weird because with both my 35mm plastic fantastic and my 18-135mm WR lenses, I felt they performed amazingly from day one. I love the build quality of the 20-40 and the fact it is WR and it's relatively compact size but I think I need to give it more time and different subjects and perhaps it will grow on me like the 40mm ltd did

Stick with it - if those "first attempts" are anything to go by then once you're shooting in your preferred RAW mode you'll be producing top class images.

They're all really striking images so you're clearly very good at this photography thingy.
All the gear with no idea

Looks pretty good to me, nice spread of focal lengths, from the look of it No. 3 is a very nice double exposure.
As you get used to it I suspect you'll grow to like it more and more.
Cheers

Thanks Mike, number three I used a point colour filter and a blooming filter to create that fuzzy look

Did you buy it from a UK seller? Can’t find any decent price at the moment (the one one mpb is decent but doesn’t sound too good condition).
If you don’t like it feel free to contact me I will buy it for a bit more than what you paid

I bought it off a UK E-bay seller and it is in very good condition apart from not having the original metal lens cap but he supplied a plastic one which I actually prefer. Sorry but I will not be selling the lens, it took me this long to find at such a bargain price and it will become my walk around lens I'm sure
