It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

As I cannot afford an MZ-S I have often thought about a 6 as an alternative. I've never had any luck with the MZ series though. The two attempts I have had to buy an MZ series camera has resulted in some nice paperweights for my overly-cluttered desk. Thta's the problem with electronic wonders -- once the electronics dies you are stuffed.

You should have bought my MZ5N when I sold it a few years ago (for about £25!) - was working well, and the 5N is a better camera than the 6 because it has better AF, metal lens mount and so on.

They go for around £30-£50 nowadays if anyone wants one and can find it in g.c.
PS: I still have a pristine (never actually used!) databack for the 5N/S if anyone wants it

I must admit to being very surprised, it handles really well and the mirror/shutter is so quiet. The autofocus seems only a tad slower with an old Tamron 28-300 than my K3 with a DA lens. That did surprise me. I hope to finish off the film within a day or so and off to Max Spielman of a touch of developing etc.
If all seems well I hope to get back onto Black & White with some home film developing and a scanner rather than having prints as I can`t faff around with blacking out the kitchen.
Would welcome any hints and tips as to developing kit and chemicals etc.
