Centiheit or Fahrengrade?
Rain and thunder down here this afternoon. Not much, soon passed, but a bit cooler now.

47C = 114F. Hot enough to fry eggs. We stayed inside with all doors closed and two "BIG" fans on full blast all day. Now midnight and now have three fans going. One in the bedroom. Still "STICKY" UGH.

Here in Northwich...two readings at about 1600 tues pm...
95F in shade and 120F in direct sunlight...both in back garden.
A bit warmer than normal but at least there was a bit of a breeze which made it more bearable.

Did anyone try using their camera yesterday? My K3 manual says the temperature range for camera use is -10 deg C to 40 deg C (14 deg F to 104 deg F) and not to charge the battery if the temperature is above 40 deg C. That upper limit used to seem pretty high . Perhaps it's a point in favour of silver rather than black cameras.
Vic - My brother in Northampton resorted to sleeping in the living room with a fan on, their dormer bedrooms were impossibly hot. He also told me that a local delivery man for a building firm was not happy that he'd had to take the day off because building sites were not working. The reason for his unhappiness? The cab of his lorry has air conditioning, his home doesn't .

Ah, the benefits of Edinburgh. Currently 18°C. (Smug).
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories
