Saying that, the more muted blues in No.2 work brilliantly against the Poppy red

Loving your experimental phase Robbie - I'm not often a fan of overly vibrant colours but these work well!

Thanks John. I drive the wife nuts by printing some off in A3+ and threaten to put up on some wall

I love 3 and 4, such 'happy' images.
Thanks, some like the Yellows more, some are drawn to the Reds

This seems to be very true although reading your post about printing them I think number 2 would make a great framed print on the wall of a classic living room, whereas 3 and 4 would be more suited to a lively colourful area in the home.

Do you mind if I quote you on this?

I think I'm safe across the narrow sea so go ahead

That is a lovely shot, with the rain drops adding the icing to the cake.
Thanks Peter, glad you liked.

I too love the vibrancy of the last two. Poppies are good too but on the second there is a halo effect around the fringes, maybe down to desaturating the background in post processing?
I agree with Rob's comments, and having spotted the halo effect, it is distracting. I prefer the yellow flower shots, and I like number 4 even more when the image is reversed left-right.

Would be the desaturation. So tick another for the Yellows

Interesting that you say distracting, some enjoy that effect, different eyes, different views. Unfortunately it is not something I can easily erase. Glad you liked the others, thanks for your feedback.
