Hello from the North East of Scotland

Hello All, Been watching with great interest from the sidelines for some time now and thought now is the time. I became the proud owner of a copy of the new DA*55 on Friday of last week. (Thanks SRS - great service yet again) Had my first outing with it over the weekend and was very impressed. Posted an image in my gallery for your thoughts, (Is that the right way to do it?). Can't wait to give it a full day out. Look forward to your company.

Yes, in my opinion the gallery is the place to post pictures you are proud of, and would like to show off. For comments and critique your best bet is the Your Photos section. Read John's sticky thread on how to post pictures in the forum.

Hello and welcome from a fellow North Easterner....up in sunny Stonehaven. Gone one step further than me with a posted photo, still to get round to that bit.

Many thanks to you all for the warm welcome. Thanks Terry for the comments on my first gallery post, I just wanted to show how sharp the DA*55 appears to be. Greytop I more than pleased with the lenses I have at the moment, most focul lengths are covered, so I will give the 60-250 a miss, did you try it at the SRS Pentax day? Gregor, I can't believe that I chose a user name so like yours considering we stay only 10 miles apart, apologies it was not meant.
