Thanks all. I hope everyone did have a merry Christmas. Santa didn't bring me any new photo gear but my student grant comes in in 2 weeks time and I may need to buy something I really need.

The way we see it, we'll be good for new year!! I'm feeling a lot better, just tired and very lethargic. This has hit me for 6 and even with the booster jabs we've had, has been much worse than the first time we got it nearly 18 months ago.

I did the recycling today as my wife went out and I've been banned from lifting a finger in the house which I hate. Nearly killed myself off doing just that small job as I was cream crackered afterwards. I'm still testing a strong positive after 4 days from testing positive on LFT test and my son is now also showing symptoms but he's still negative nd has been for the past 2 days. Fair play, Christmas Day was a wash out with only 2 out of 5 of the family feeling well enough to enjoy Christmas dinner.

Roll on feeling better as I'm itching to get out and shoot something, there's only so much fun you can have within 4 walls before you start to feel like a prisoner.

Too many calendars!

It is natural for us to want to share our best photos with friends, and what better way to do it than by sending them a calendar with twelve, or so, of our snaps.

It is getting out of hand. We have received six, so far, and they are still coming in! One commercial 2023 calendar was sent by a Norwegian friend that shows the scenery of his country. The rest range from excellent sharp well composed images of wildlife, scenery or places visited on holiday, to rather fuzzy snaps of friends' hobbies, probably taken on a smartphone. What can we do with so many? Just stop it!
