Hi Bernhard, here's one designed for the Nikon D3, so it should fit well on the GX-10 with the grip. It also has an attachment so you can put the neck strap on at the same time; plus a built-in tripod mount. According to this review it's a bit more sturdy on the wrist than most others (though the one Gwyn has posted is similar). It's branded a Nikon but I think it's actually a copy as the 'Real Thing' is something like £70!
At £14 including shipping it's not as cheap as some of the others but it looks nice and sturdy.

Hi all,
Sorry I was not able to come here yesterday but I was a Football (watching NOT playing )and later 'celebrating a good win so I did not came home till late for a change and only now have a chance to 'clearly' review your kind answers to my question and your replies .
I believe the one that BentlyTCow and Gwyn suggested are what I am looking for and I would be happy to pay £14 IF I could find one. The one of feeBay is not fitting sadly.
Many thanks for your help. Now its time to find one of those here in the UK.
Kind regards

Many thanks for that. As I widened my search I found various one and e-mailed all of the sellers of those that I am interested in if the straps will fit with the added 1" (2.5cm) battery grip added. Got one back that will but it is missing the wrest fixing feature but would do link and got two others outstanding inclusive of the seller of the item you kindly found for me and this one link .
For me the practicality and fitting is of more importance to me than the look of them (as long as it is not too cheap and tatty).
The reason for asking first is, that should the item not fit, even the seller stated that it will fit when I asked, I be able under the eBay rules to return the item as it is not as described by the seller.
Sadly nowadays you have to cover yourself like this and can not take the sellers word for granted any more as too many try to sell stuff that is either not fit for purpose or just out to make a quick quid. When I first started of in eBay (2001) it was fun and people really described items correctly, today to many Chinese cheap imports are classed as first class items when they are not and then they get back to no returns as it was not stated that the grip would fit that particular model etc. so I rather take care and ask before I buy.
Good find anyway and like I say many, many thanks for all your help and hopefully one of them will fit (with the battery attachment attached to the camera). It will be such an ease for me if the added wrist fixing would be with it but I even will be happy without it.
Thank you for your continuous help

Happy to be of service That second one I posted actually has pictures of it attached to a camera with a grip, so no mystery on that one.

Yeah, like I say I asked anyway because I had problems similar to this with my Video camera and when it not was what was promised they had to eat their words and refund (not without getting eBay involved as well and they (eBay) wanted to see the emails where it was stated that it would work).
By now it has become more a shopping centre and like Amazon but at least you still can find bits and pieces that otherwise would be somewhere in the bin.
Many thanks

P.S. :
Is anyone willing and able to PM Gwin for me as he has asked me to PM him and has a cable that I require but as I am not a member of 30 days yet I am unable to PM him and I do not know if he got the message that I can not PM him? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME HERE

Does this help?
https://www.pentaxuser.com/forum/topic/handstrap-for-digital-slr-20492/p-1#comm2...
(The strap on the left side was bought seperately).
I'm pretty sure any of this style of strap will fit a camera with grip. There is a buckle beneath the leatherette hand grip part which enables you to lengthen that strap.

Yes, that's what I am looking at at the moment. The problem with most of them is that as soon as you got the extra battery compartment with the camera the fastener (Velcro) becomes too small (especially if you got large hands like I have) and it's not secure any more that's why I ask the sellers at the moment first if the fastening part is long enough, but in principle that is exactly what I am looking for. I just would 'loose' the neck strap as I use the Lowepro Slingshot and access to the camera is very fast hence the neck strap would not be used any more plus with having the onset of arthritis in my hand it will make handling the camera more secure as I got a better grip.
Thanks for your input, it was nice to see actually a 'real' usage of one of them rather then the staged pictures that look pretty but do not show anything really. Your picture told me more than the 10 or so advertising pictures that I have seen so farm

Sorry but I do not get what you mean. as for the strap I only got so far one answer from 3 sellers back. This one 'suntekstore_uk' makes out he is in London and actually is registered in China. He also states "Our standard shipping service is from London warehouse via Royal Mail 1st Class and the normal delivery time is about 3-8 business days(If you need it urgently, please do not bid it)." and if you go through his feedback it seems that he has only very limited stock here at all. I get items from Hong Kong quicker. People like this make me mad. 3 emails, no reply. Do they actually want my custom? Yes it is the grip I want because of the wrist fastening but I guess I stay away from that seller and pay a few pound more and have a British seller that cares for his customers. Shame I can not find a proper shop where I can get one. When in our local Jessops but they are getting as bad as PC World. 'Spotty Dick' behind the counter tried to sell me a new 'ergonomically formed' neck strap because he NEVER SEEN anything like this and the neck strap is so much better for me. Who is the customer? Why do we have to put up with ***** like this? Service like that I expect in the jungle but not in the UK. In the US he would have been fired on the spot and so in Germany. Wy do we in the UK get overcharged, ****ty service and put up with it???
Can't even complain as he is from a minority group and you may find yourself on the wrong end of the law for racism.
Well there is one more I can try to see if he answers. Why is everything so difficult to get hold of?
Rant over.
Btw. and off topic, anyone ever heard about AI News Service or the IFPO? Anyone can shed some light on to them? Scam or not etc? I think I Google a bit more and start a new threat tomorrow about it. If true, good news, if a scam, very intelligent put together especially nowadays where everyone is looking for this extra income.

Sensible care is needed on the Internet and nobody is queueing up to pay you money as a photojournalist....be careful out there.

I know, that's why I do my homework first and asking around is also a good way on top of searching Google etc. But like I say I will probably start a new thread about this when I know a bit more (or not as you seem to be directed to the same sites over and over again and even I am in the game for a good 35years (I never really left but its all in my profile) I never really heard of them.
I see what I can find.
Thanks for the warning, got my public order protection gear on already

I am after a Hand Grip Strap for my Samsung GX-10 (same as the Pentax K10D), but one that I can use with the battery grip in place, which gives the camera about 1" (2.5cm) more height. I am using the normal 'neck strap' at the moment but it would be of more use for me if I could use one of the Hand Grip Straps that are available ( link ) as I use a Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW to store the camera during transport now,
(upgraded from the 100 AW as this was becoming far to small and already toying with the idea of the 350 AW as this can also take my laptop in it and is a bit more spacey as well so I got more room for expansion)
but I would have a better handle with a Hand Strap attached. You can find them cheap on feeBay but after a conversation with the seller whose English was not up to that of a sales rep, as it took some explaining what I wanted to know, I finally got the answer which was "no" no more no less.
Now I know that there are straps that can be used and as I would be better of with one as I also have slight arthritis in my hand and the holding of the camera would be much more comfortable, does anyone know where I can obtain one from.
The reason I know that they exist and that they would be best for me is that a friend of mine just bought a GX10 with the battery grip AND a hand strap in place from a local shop second hand but there is no maker on the strap and the shop was of not help either.
As my friend suffers even worse with arthritis in his fingers than me I will under no circumstances approach him to ask if he would sell the strap to me as he needs it as well and it was one of the reasons why he got the system in the first place.
The weight of the camera with the grip is no problem as the arthritis is in my fingers and it is sometimes difficult to hold/grip the camera.
Please can anyone help me out here and point me in the right direction (maybe with a link) from where I can get what I am desperately searching for.
Many thanks and kind regards
