Hi. Look forward to hearing of your experiences and seeing some of your photos. Which lenses do you like for your K-1?

JAK. D 150-450mm, 28-200mm (from 35mm film Pentax), 28mm f2.8 prime with 2x teleconverter, 20-40 ltd (aps-c mode), 85mm f1.4, and a few others mostly from 35mm film Pentax cameras Tamron, Vivitar, Formula 5, and Sigma. I do have the 50-500 sigma PK mount but since i purchased the 150-450 i rarely use it.
I was planing on a new Pentax D 24-70 but i do not care for its image quality.
I am curious as to the rumored D 50mm.

Thanks, good selection there! If you're not keen on the 24-70 have you considered the 28-105? If nothing else it's a bit cheaper!

I believe i have a 28-105mm, will have to make an effort to test it out.
Flea markets and garage sales boxes of lenses to rummage through. Why do i do this to myself?

There's several incarnations of that. the latest being the DFA28-105 which came out at about the same time as the 24-70. Others go back to film camera lenses which aren't too bad but the DFA is fine. Another, if you have one or come across one is the FA24-90, the last zoom of the film era before the istD came out. While plastic construction, optically it's pretty good.

Indeed. The quest to contribute to the commonwealth of Pentax knowledge and wisdom.
I also use a Pentax K200d. Helps keep the skills honed.
