Great 'Gift' VIVITAR Pentax 'K' fit 200mm f3.5

a Good Camera Club Mate and Fellow FLICKR member gave me this great lens! Here is a heavy but SHARP VIVITAR 200mm f3.5 made by KOMINE Initial Tests show it is useable at full aperture and at f4 and f5.6 really sharp !

There are a lot of different old 200mm lenses around but I think most of them are not great performers, with a particular problem being purple fringing. Of course, on B&W film that's no problem and sharpness and decent contrast are the main requirements for it to be good on that medium.

I rarely use lenses that long but I have the K 200mm f/4, which is significantly better than the later M version, with the big difference being fringing.
