Seen this one elsewhere. Utterly insane.

I think what gets to me is that he seems to be scrambling up the tower without proper grab rails in some areas, just using the tower itself as a climbing frame. I also couldn't care less if it's "easier and faster" to climb without a safety line, it's downright stupid. One slip and they won't have to dig a grave, just fill in the man-shaped hole he left in the ground!

Best thing would be if he would be also a base jumper as at least he could get down quickly.

I would be quite inclined to ask for a parachute by way of safety kit. He's more than high enough up for it to open and slow his descent.

As a photographer who also rock climbs...this is insanely dangerous. Margin for error nil, and if the guy at the top falls he takes his mate out. 2 craters.
