A chance to see the new Z......Exciting.

I so hope this camera is what we are all expecting it to be...

So much hype about this new sensor and what Pentax can do with it.

Notice that the 'Z' doesn't have Ricoh printed on it
Perhaps they realized they made a mistake with the K3 or it's
just that they don't know what they are doing Or they
are looking to buy the 'Bronica' trademark

For some reason it's being kept separate from the
Ricoh Pentax DSLR lines?

Will the pros who buy it know that there's no such
thing as a Pentax homepage...... It's all Ricoh now!

Couldn't find Calumet's website, can anyone give me a pointer?

you have to dig a bit to find their Pentax pages, nothing evident on the home page that I could see.

Not sure how I feel about Calumet being the first with the Z in the UK

I guess I was hoping it would be one of the core Pentax shops such as SRS - I've never classed Calumet as a Pentax supporter, but I suppose they have been high end suppliers for other brands in the past and Pentax are now truly entering that arena :

I know, but it's a bit of a kick in the teeth for the handful of shops that have been loyal supporters and stockists of the Pentax range for a long time - it's a shame that the first sizeable batch of pre-orders of the "Z" will probably go to Calumet as a result of this collaboration (IMO) !

Agreed, hence my sarcasm on the news item.
