Hi All

For sale my 30mm Sigma F1.4 EX DC lens

Its had virtually no use, boxed with the case and instructions.

The Glass is clean, no fungi and is in perfect condition, fully working, The lens hood does have some marks including for some reason what seems to be part of a finger print in the original finish - this is purely cosmetic.

Inc RMSD 195 - Bank Transfer preferred please, can be seen if your near Gloucester or there may be a chance to meet depending where you are in the UK.

Hi Chris

The description of the lens given in your original post was, I now realise, decidedly understated.

Ergonomically and functionally, I find it an excellent match for the K3. In use, auto-focus is snappy and accurate with no micro-focus adjustment needed (confirmed under controlled conditions using a Spyder Lens Cal). Sharpness, contrast and colour rendition and are good at f/1.4, very good at f/2 -2.8 and approaching excellent by f/4. As others have commented, CA is evident at f/1.4 under certain conditions, but with your (now my ) copy it not a serious problem and easily correctable 'PP'. Out of focus highlights are rendered with a pleasing bokeh.

An unexpected bonus was our wide-ranging and, from my perspective, thought-provoking and informative post-exchange discourse.

All-in-all, a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Best

Jon
