I'm selling my Tokina AF 20-35 f3.5-4.5 as it duplicates my Pentax FA 20-35 in focal range. It's full-frame compatible and a very useful wide angle zoom range.

It is better built than the Pentax and has a faster maximum aperture (although the Pentax has a constant aperture) - IQ is pretty good, I'd say the Pentax edges it slightly but there's not a lot in it. I have a wide angle metal lens hood with it (not an original) which is very good but does vignette very slightly at the widest setting.

condition is very good and reviews are quite positive....

I'll put some photos up in the next couple of days

Is this the ATX version, MK1 or MK2? Asking as reading the reviews it says the earlier versions had a rotating front element and the later didn't!

Any pics would be welcome to see the beast!

It's not the AT-X (that's the f2.8 model that has the larger filter size, is heavier and IMO softer at wide apertures) - this is the slightly more compact Mk1 AF model with the rotating front element. I know that seems like a problem for filters (grads especially) but in practice using a filter holder on this or the Pentax FA 20-35 isn't easy and depending on the holder type you can get vignetting. With these and even my prime 20's and 24's I go back to holding the filter in front of the lens once the composition is set up.

I'll try to put some photos up tomorrow Gareth

That's old tech for you taking a set of Lee Filters on holidays with K-1 and FA*28-70 was highly entertaining an ultimately frustrating experience.

A few photos of the lens...

You can see a small engraved letter M on the barrel in the last shot, apart from this condition is superb

p.s. I also have a Pentax F 24-50 AF lens listed in the classifieds if that would suit your needs better!
