It works with SDM lenses, but unlike the new Pentax one it doesn't adjust the reported focal length, however it doesn't cost the same either! As TCs go these are one of the better ones.

Thanks for the info John. I should point out to potential buyers that the performance of this teleconverter coupled with the Da300, is not perfect. It can take several attempts for focus to lock. Reading discussions online, it is not just this copy, but across the board.

It doesn't happen with the Pentax 1.4 TC, but as you pointed out, it doesn't cost the same. If it's anywhere near the performance of the Pentax one it's a steal at 100.
