FS: Some special SMC Pentax A series lenses

SMC Pentax A 50mm f1.2 plus matched rectangular lens hood in excellent condition - the fastest 50mm ever produced by Pentax, this being the A series version (there is an earlier K version) it has 9 aperture blades and the later SMC coating and of course the A setting to allow more functionality with DSLR's. Superb IQ, incredibly thin depth of field at maximum aperture, difficult to nail the focus (for my eyes) but when you do it's superb.

SMC Pentax A 100mm f2.8 Macro (Excellent Condition) - The first f2.8 100mm macro from Pentax and featuring the FREE feature. FREE is an abbreviation for Fixed Rear Element Extension. It is a type of floating lens system where the front group only of the lens system is moved without moving the rear group during the focusing operation. This has long been my favourite 100mm Macro, until the release of the current AW version which has a few features that make it a touch better for me.

SMC Pentax A* 300mm f2.8 ED [IF] (Average Condition) - Simply the best 300mm lens I have used. IQ is superb, works beautifully with the A series converters (almost no loss of IQ with the 1.4x-L), heavy - very heavy, fast - very fast - there are some issues with this copy - I'm happy to expand on this if there is serious interest - but they do not interfere with the superb output of this incredible lens. I can't handhold this lens for long enough to take it on a trip, so a new home would be best!

There is some minor dust (as you'd expect), a tiny amount of "silvering", a few tiny coating marks (again as you'd expect) - but overall the condition is excellent for its age!
