Ahoy!
As a new Pentax user with the K-5 and SMC 18-55, I'm looking for a half decent telephoto. I don't know the lens you're selling, but what reviews I've read, it appears to be pretty decent all things considered as if I could find a sigma 100-300/4 EX DG (IF) APO, I'd be a happy bunny. I've also been looking at the Sigma 50-200mm DC OS HSM @ £99.00 from SRS Microsystems.
Bottom line is that not knowing what's good and what isn't, how do you rate your lens against others on the market of a similar focal length? If you can convince me that your lens is THE one to have, then maybe we can cut a deal. What say you?
TIA.
Mark
P.S. I can do both BACS and PPG (no fees to you). FWIW, the cost can be reduced if you use UPS via Interparcel or possibly another carrier and/or another intermediary such as ParcelMonkey or InterlinkDirect (I sent a £2000.00 AF 300/2.8 AP HS G prime in it's metal flight case etc which weighed just under 10kg for under £10.00 with minimum insurance and was delivered next day with UPS/Interparcel). The Post Office can't offer that level of service or price/weight with online tracking short of using ParcelForce. I thought this may be useful info should you ever need a low cost efficient alternative to the overpriced RMSD service with their 3.5 month (jump through hoops) insurance claim procedure (the worst service ever).

As you have read this lens has a very good reputation, the photo below is SOOC, and apart from a re-size has not had any PP work done to it.
The EXIF data should be intact, this is just to show what sort of images you can get in horrible weather.
I will try to find another one in good light and post ASAP
