FS: Sigma EX 15-30 f3.5-45 DG

I've been using a Sigma EX 15-30 f3.5-45 DG for a few weeks now and although it's a poor mans Pentax 15-30 and a very capable lens on Full Frame, it really doesn't suit me - I'm happier with a couple of wide primes .

It's a fairly big lens with a protruding, bulbous front element and its condition is excellent - everything is working as it should be and the original hood and lens cap are included. It is an Aspherical, IF (internal focus) design - although use of filter isn't the easiest thing in the world (Lee (or similar) hand-held is probably the most pragmatic approach) It suffers from some softness in the corners, this can be reduced a bit by stopping down - it performs pretty well in low lighting and at wide apertures as can be seen in some of these shots...

It's reviews over on Pentaxforums aren't as high as for the Pentax equivalent but remember this is an older design and is a quarter of the price...

So if you want to own a full frame ultra-wide zoom this is your chance

Okay - as I've just spent out on a lens I didn't need and will be too big I could do with moving this little beauty into the hands of a Pentaxian….

I think 100mm are not enough, 150 should be ok.

No it can't.
150mm system is required.
There are numerous brands to go for if thinking of getting a filter system.
Kase
Nisi S5
Lee 150
Haida
Benro
Lucroit
Wonder pana
And probably a few more as well.
Most of them have adapters to allow them to be used on regular lenses too
I know what i like, If not always why.
