Final price drop £155 (bought for £147, so no profit) incl RMSD. Same day post. The topic is closed after 3 days if nobody is interested.
P.S. The one and only problem is sharpness.
f1.2. Taken just now on a cloudy morning.

Thanks,

I think your problem of sharpness is due to the focus
being slightly out. Try it on a tripod with a shot on
focus of a box or a bottle and then without changing the
focus move the bottle back 10mm, take a shot, move
another 10mm and take another. Then move it back to
the original position and repeat the shots moving the
object towards you.
The shot of the leaves above isn't too bad. You only
have about +/- 7mm DOF and there may be some camera
or leaf movement. The bokeh looks good.

I will try that. The lens has infinity focus problem. But I read that's a common issue for porst. The lens probably was reassembled and something just went wrong. I think I should have returned it. I thought it was a bargain

Hi Algi, I tried what you said, probably not as exactly as you said, perhaps the flower moved a bit horizontally (especially 20mm front one)... but check it out. In my opinion, 10 or 20mm front from the original position is the sharpest one compared to others.

10mm in front looks about right. Unfortunately red doesn't
photograph too good and you can see that there isn't much
DOF at f/1.2 I still think the lens is capable of
better, there may still be a bit of camera shake. Did you
have the mirror up and a 2/3 sec. delay?
Sadly that's the only way you can get the focus spot on,
with MF... I normally use a focusing rack and bracket
in 7mm steps and then pick out the best.
Good subject matter is needed for this lens.... some examples..

Algi, I just think this lens is not for me. That's why I think somebody else can use it better.
Before it goes on ebay auction, I will take offers here.

Jalal

If it doesn't sell I might be interested later. The problem is I'm travelling now and will not be home (in Denmark) before June or so. To be honest, the pictures are not promising but at a bargain price I would consider taking the chance. Your ebay auction is UK only, though. You are welcome to get back to me now or later on PM.

Additional items: 2 UV filters, 1 CPL filter, 3 in 1 rubber hood, front and rear caps.
Condition: The lens is in fully working order. Front and rear glasses do not have any dust, fungus or scratches. Aperture works well and oil free.
The lens was bought from ebay. I am selling it due to being unhappy with the sharpness. I am a beginner, I believe professionals can use the lens more effectively.
#PLEASE do not ask to send the lens first. I have described the condition very clearly. A video and some pictures below to make it more clear. Comparison between Pentax M 50mm f1.7 and Porst. I am open to offers more than £200 including RMSD (I will post on the same day), so I will take the best offer.
