Hi Roy
To be honest I have no experience with the 360, so I'm not in the best position to give advice but from what I can see they do seem to have a similar look to the interface, so my guess would be that they would go together well.
Maybe Nigel or someone else could give some advice from experience?

I used the 360 & 540 together a couple of years back and had no issues, if I remember rightly they work very well together - but Nigel is the master of this, he'll give you all the in's and out's

No, I'm no master of P-TTL cables at all, I've never used them! I've tried to pick up the ins nd outs of them from forum discussions in order to offer up some basic guidance in my Guide. From what I've read and been informed of, if you have the hotshoe adaptors that go with the cord then any Pentax P-TTL model will work with them. I think it is the older '540' model that has a dedicated socket so you can avoid one adaptor .....
Just checked my AF-540FGZ and there is a plug socket with 5 small holes ....
Lennybloke, it was a thread of yours a few months back that had a lot of discussion on this and was very helpful .... Could you link to it here perhaps?
I hope you get these sold unlocker, from the pics everything looks to be in lovely condition.

I am also starting to learn more about flash. If it is any help I am using a 360 (mk 1 verion) with a 540 (mk II version). One on camera and the other triggered optically. They both work fine together irrespective of which is master/slave.

Aylesbury, Bucks.
Bought used from the forum purely to use for a wedding with the K-1.
Comes complete with box, manuals, stand and bag and is in great condition. As it has been used, there are a few cosmetic surface marks on the body.
The only thing to note is that I believe that there was a rubber flap covering the port on the side that is not there any more, it was bought this way so definitely not hiding in the corner of a bag anywhere!
