According to RiceHigh it is. I have used the 40 Ltd and 50mm 1.8 recently on film without any problems.

This is incorrect. A few DA lenses are full frame. Many work well with minor vignetting and/or detail loss in corners. And some are not usable full frame, notably many zooms and wider primes. There is plenty of information around which is which.
The DA70 should do quite well full frame with some fall off and detail loss in the corners.
Nice lens with very nice colours. Good luck with the sale.

It's not an 'officially fully supported by Pentax' full frame lens for which Pentax provide lens correction support for it in full frame mode as they do for the FA 77mm Ltd. It does however cover the full frame image perfectly well though.

I had this lens and it worked well on my K1. If there was any vignetting it was not not noticeable. I sold it to buy another lens which would be of greater use to me but this lens is a gem if you want that focal length.
