The weather has been nice but very cold here today so I took a few snaps in the garden then later went for a walk in the hills behind my house:

My friend near Edinburgh said it has been cold and snowy, all we get down here is wet and windy.

I've got a teasel head ready and waiting for a frost, been sat there a few weeks now...

Think I like your frosty moss(?) most, but it all looks beautiful up there.

K-3, a macro lens and a DA*300mm...

Number 2 is my fav - path, power lines and hedge - great lines. Would have liked to see what a mono HDR of this view would'av been cool to bring out the details in the hedge and take down that sun.

Love the grain in the last.

I was thinking about HDR (which I've yet to try) but it wasn't an option this time because I didn't have a tripod with me. Even with the 2-stop ND grad I might have been better off exposing for the sky then brightening the foreground in PS. That's what I did with the 1st shot (1/125 @ F14) but not with the 2nd (1/60 @ F5.6).
