Beautiful, the clouds look awesome (esp. on #2), and the lakes have nice colour. I just wonder if the bluish haze is avoidable (ie using UV or skylight filter)?

Thanks for the comments..this was a hiking day not really a photography one but I always take the DSLR with me and can't resist a good view...

unfortunately filters won't help in this situation, the shots were taken on quite a warm day around midday causing the hazy conditions

Another series of shots I've had sat on the PC for a while and thought I'd re-edit them as the weather has me trapped in the house again !!
These were taken during peak daylight so not exactly the best lighting
