From a moor to my back garden

Betelgeuse is simple and beautiful, and that first image is simply beautiful

p.s. Quality and Variety if you're wondering

The astro shots are interesting. It's the starburst that makes the Betelgeuse image work for me. Take it away and it's just a lot of bright dots on a black background. Well done for getting a stunning picture from an optical effect rather than insisting on reality. And the moon - was it really rotating between shots? Better tell NASA before they send a man to it only to find that it's not where they thought it would be

The Cassegrain Telescope acts like a massive mirror lens... the reflector takes a mirror image.
Thank you both for your kind words

PS... I do have a better one of Betelgeuse but not sure I can put it in here. It was taken with a Lumix GF1!
At the beggining there was nothing....
