That's tempting - and probably about as close as I'll ever get!

Good point! Unfortunately today's kidney exchange rate wouldn't see me raise enough for a wheel nut...

399 for a toy car?!

That puts the latest Pentax lens prices into perspective. They're actually very reasonable. Perhaps I can afford that 50-135 after all!

Good choice of subject BTW, Hefty.

Ok, I start this Beleave or not, I do NOT have a car. And I have two daughters, no sons. That means no heaps of toy cars. And I do not remember that I have ever chosen a car for my photo subject at all (not talking about just street etc)
I wonder what people (or police) think when I start sneaking around their cars
A jeee, that will be fun

PS. No worries, I get used and start like it

My evil twin was hoping our new member Lensman would be popping in to say there were no cars on Fair Isle. Fortunately evil twin's nefarious plans have been dashed.

Nice try, but I'm pretty sure there's not a person left in the world who can have Internet access but can't find a car to photograph, even if it's only a toy one...

You've heard the expression "taking candy from a baby"? Well kids are easily distracted these days...

I'm a confirmed petrol-head so, in celebration of a new series of Top Gear starting on Sunday, this fortnight's competition is CARS.

Oh yes, rub it in. A new series of Top Gear and I sit in Germany with no motoring magazine even remotely touch Top Gear. I just love this opinionated Clarkson guy with the aristocratic James and the Hamster... Sigh...

I'll try to find a car here, it's difficult as they are all out on the Autobahn at unspeakable speeds...

And you've got the Nurburgring to play on, so you might find my pity is in short supply...
