When we upgraded to the K-5 a few years ago, the K10D and K20D bodies went to my brother-in-law and his wife. Now they have upgraded to the K-3 II they have come back to me, and are now on offer. The K10D was originally mine, the K20D was originally Sue's. I haven't checked the shutter count yet, but nothing too out of the way I'm sure. Both cameras are in very fine condition, obviously showing some use, but very, very clean and with no paint rubbing or damage at all. Very bright and clear, fully operational in every respect, shown a high degree of care during their lifetime and really as good as we can get for these models. Both are boxed with all accessories and the K20D has an extra original Pentax battery as well.

Prices negotiable, but I suggest £75 for the K10D and £125 for the K20D, both to include UK tracked shipping. A UK only sale.

I'm assuming you might take the K20D as "better" in that it's newer and has a 14.6MP sensor. The K10D is the last of that line to use a CCD, and some do prefer that in some ways, but that's debateable I think.

I'll take a picture and check the number of actuations and get back to you shortly.

The K20D was manufactured on 29th May 2008 and the shutter count is 34,005.

Hope that helps!

Yes, I thought so too. It's not often cameras as clean as these are on offer either, so ideal for someone starting out at low cost, or perhaps a backup.

Are either of these still for sale. I was thinking of a present for my 18 year old son as a starter camera.

I currently have an offer to buy on the K20D, subject to payment, but the K10D is still available.

For someone just starting out with a dslr, I think the CCD sensor in the K10d makes for a more attractive proposition. I was always regretted selling my GX10, the K10d equivalent.
