flaring

Just purchased T30 with a Sigma 18 - 50mm f2.8-4.5 DC OS lens, not sure if it's a setting problem that I have created. I have just moved up from a Instamatic camera so my knowledge is very limited. When my local photograph club opens it's doors for it's next meeting, I shall be sat there with my hand up.

On using the Live view option there seems to be what I would describe a flaring or pearling on certain areas.

Help please

Do you have focus peaking activated? Is there focus peaking on the K30?
Best regards, John

Sounds like focus peaking. I've got it activated on my k30. Turn it off in the menu of you don't like it (under live view settings)

Yes the focus peaking was turned on, I have turned it off for the time being and will see how we go. But I notice on the live view option looking a quite close indoor objects the condition still tends to show.

Sorry michaelblue, I did mean K30

Many thanks for your feedback.
