#2 and #3 are superb, #1 doesn't quite match up to the other 2

Colours, detail, lighting, subjects - all great here (as usual, I might add). Quite lovely greys in 1...

Unusual subjects, but ones that work very well. I particularly like the greys in #1, and the light in #2.

Thank you all for your kind remarks.
With the coming of winter, I was missing new natural history subjects for my photography, particularly insects for macro.
Lateral thinking struck & I thought to ask my next door neighbour, who is a longstanding fly fishing enthusiast.
With a large collection of flies.
Hundreds of the little fellas!
So I asked to borrow three & the results are above!
Quite an interesting exercise........

Superb photos of fascinating and strangely beautiful subjects. But those barbed hooks make me feel rather uncomfortable...
