Well that timetable was a waste of time.
Good show though, had to leave home at 3.30am to get there before the traffic.

Went on Friday in 2017 - straight in (at around 10am IIRC) /out via the M4 & A419/429(?) with virtually zilch traffic - the flying may not have been as good as at the weekend, but I'll gladly trade that for the ease of access/departure on a Friday, IF I ever go again
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 with the Hacked K-50 f/w to being a backup body) , & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

The B2 did a pass through apparently but I didn't see it

That's why they call it the 'stealth' bomber

Just read some of the reviews of the flying at RIAT today, and wasn't "impressed".

I must admit looking at the flying displays...not the most exciting or inspiring if you've been several times before...much more interesting stuff in the static line-up...i'd like to see some of that flying.

Anyway, we're off in a few hours ourselves to make the most of it. Aiming to head for the right hand side of the green zone this year for a change...close to the edge of the blue zone. Can't be bothered this year trying to get to the fenceline...we'll probably be about 15-20 metres back from there hopefully with a bit of space around us.

Karlo

That can actually be a good location - if you can get somewhere on the high ground as you can see/shoot over those at/near the crowdline (the Western end of the crowdline is quite good in that respect).

It was my first RIAT and I thoroughly enjoyed it... Just got in at 10am, 1h30 of driving and 1h of queuing then a lot of walking....

I was thrilled to see the B2 and the Gripen (I've not been to a proper airshow since 2015.....and it was a long time before then so the Typhoon was 'new' to me), the presenter during the spanish formation team display was amusing - a cross between Fast Show and an uncrontrollable moped).....

Saw plenty of K-3 and K5, and the odd K-m plus 18-55....

Our local news, BBC - Points West interviewed a lady at Fairford who had a Pentax camera around her neck on the 18:40 programme.

We were there. Left South Wales at 8.30 and parked up and walked in at 11am. Queued for a while to get in, we were on the green route. Back home for half 8 and then flaked out.

Had visions of editing done images and in the end I feel asleep after only editing a few images on the sofa!

Great day, long, hot, tiring but we made it from end to end with plenty of snaps in between.

I found the Bigma to nail the target more with sharper images with the K1 over the K3ii after shooting what I thought were some killer shots.

The irony would be your internet speed being too slow to open their page.
