As per the title, looking for one for when I don't want to use a funky little data-back that came with my black MX!
Cheers!

Scrap that, it'll just be an MX door I'm looking for.

Is the basic body different according to the camera title? Would an ME door fit?
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

From what I've read, yes. Silly me should just borrow my colleague's ME-Super door and see whether that fits on it.
I'll report back later today

The ME and MX are totally different body sizes and you won't be able to swap backs. Why not find a non-working ME series camera and salvage the door?
Best regards, John

I’m getting conflicting messages here, John.
Confirmed that the ME Super’s back doesn’t fit.
Should the second line say “find a non-working MX series camera…”?

I’ve only recently seen one for parts MX and that was still £35 & postage! Crazy!

Sorry I wrote that the wrong way round, but you've sussed out the meaning.
Best regards, John

A valuable question nonetheless. Thank you.

I suspect I've got an old MX somewhere, with no idea if it works. I'll have a look this afternoon and come back to you.

Found it. This is an MX that I bought from the car boot sale for a quid, I've no idea if it works or not and the water / rust marks suggest not. The back would need to be cleaned.

I paid a pound for the camera, mainly because it had a nice strap. So a pound would buy it without the strap, plus P&P of course if you don't want to come to South Cheshire and collect it.
