Finnish Pentaxian says "Hi"

Thought I maybe should say a bit more. Bought some lenses recently over the forums from user helios (thanks once more!). So I thought I might as well join the action in the forums a bit more.

I'm 24 and got into photography as a teenager. I didn't get my first DSLR though until the end of 2009. It's the K10D I'm still using and I've been very pleased with the images I've been able to capture with it. I'll probably share with you my "Every day I'm commuting" -project as soon as I'll reach the current day on the pp work. I currently use DA15ltd, M28 f2.8, DA40ltd and M50 f1.7 and I have a Tamron AD2 80-210 f3.8-4 for the occasional tele needs. Also every now and then I have to mount the kit zoom, but I've never really liked the images I get with it.

Hope to see you around the forums!

Welcome to the site!!..

Last time I was in Helsingfors was in 1988, as a courier, when I worked for TNT. I stayed at the Rantasiipi Hotel (I hope I spelt it right!) at Vantaa airport, and took the airport bus from the hotel to downtown Helsinki. The architecture and cleanliness was amazing! I seem to recall though, that your parliamentary building was in need of a spot of stone cleaning!

The TNT driver that picked me up from the airport terminal to the delivery point was a madman!! I'm still not sure if he was a courier-driver, or one of your country's rally drivers!!

Thanks for the welcomes, I've actually just moved to Helsinki so I'm having similar feelings as everyone who have visited here sometimes.
And to Steven, they're all the same, TNT couriers and rally drivers
