Hi guys, so i am new to analog photography and i bought a pentax sfxn body because my father had some lens for this camera so I decided to give it a try and i bought one for 20 bucks. So i put the film inside the camera, I took like 3 photos and then i dont why i click the button on the bottom of the camera that i think that rewinds the film. Now the film gave off the canister and its stuck inside the camera. Is anything I can do right now and did I damage the camera itself?

Please help

In total darkness open the camera and carefully wind the film back into the cassette. (Maybe in bed with the light turned off! Been there, done it!) Good luck

The official answer would be to remove it inside a film changing bag but I guess you haven't got one of those. Whatever you do Just don't get light onto the film or you'll fog it.

Rewinding the film is a two step process and uses the round button and the slide switch next to it. You press the round button in (this disconnects the drive) then slide the rectangular switch to the side (this starts it to rewind). It sounds like you may have only pressed the round button in?
