Few shots from my favourite places in and around Stuttgart

Here are a couple of shots from my favourite places in and around Stuttgart plus a few other random ones thrown in (and of course one of the dog!). All are from my second attempt at film photography with a Spotmatic, this time with Ilford HP5 Plus film, scanned with an Epson V330. There's a mix of lenses, some 28mm/2.0 Soligor, some Super-Takumar 55mm/1.8 and some Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 120mm/2.8.

The library is a real gem! It's made for B&W photography and you made good use of it.

A simply gorgeous set of images. Everything well seen and well taken.

You've taken me back to my days of HP5 - that gorgeous grain with a good tonal range

Nice selection of subjects and compositions - keep at it Richard

I could spend hours in that market and library, and the use of Ilford film is spot on. Regardless of the medium, your images have a feel to them that I like: the sort of feeling I look for when judging whether to purchase (yet another) photography or film imagery book.
Nigel.

Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.

A collection of manual primes to keep me in touch with the pleasures of doing it old-school.

Thanks for the kind comments.

I’m happy to find any excuse to drop in to the library or market hall. I’ve got some Ilford Delta on order and am looking forward to getting out and about with it soon.
